up to £670.00 per day UK / additional 20% overseas uplift when overseas (negotiable for exceptional candidates)

The opportunity

We are delivering the Turnkey Engineering and Operations solutions for several major rail programmes in the UK and Internationally. We currently have an immediate need for additional Project Managers, preferably with experience in Metro or Mainline railways (new build and upgrade), specifically;

  • Stations (Underground and Over-ground)

  • Traction Power (Overhead / 3rdRail, DC and AC, high speed / metro)

  • Track

  • Civils / Structures (inc. Tunnels)

  • Tunnel Ventilation Systems

  • Electrical & Mechanical Systems

  • Signalling Systems (inc. Conventional / ERTMS / ETCS / CBTC)

  • Communication Systems / SCADA (Vital / non-Vital, Voice / Data)

  • Rolling Stock (Light and Heavy Rail Vehicles)

  • Depots

  • Whole Railway System.


Responsibilities

  • Technical Design Leadership

  • Technical Design Reviews (Assessment)

  • Design Checks (Validation & Verification)

  • As-built Inspections / Site Visits

  • Audit Support / Reports

  • Contribute to Safety & Assurance Cases

  • Contribute to Performance / Reliability Analysis


About you

  • Experienced CRE / PE / DPE

  • Thorough understanding of Safety principles

  • Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a Discipline and/or Safety role

  • Previous experience of working on large Metro or Mainline railway programmes

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both collaboratively and alone
